“I just don’t understand what you and your sister think is so great about that Starbucks stuff.

It smells like burnt socks.”

When I was growing up… I woke up to the smell of “burnt socks” every morning. That’s how I knew breakfast was ready. At times my grandma’s coffee was so thick I kept confusing it with molasses.
